Mapping
We survey your school site (usually a 2-3 hours visit) in order to produce a detailed Orienteering map of the site. Once agreed, we provide 30 hard copies of the map on water resistant Orienteering map paper as well as an electronic pdf of the map.
Permanent Orienteering Courses
Most schools now choose to have a Permanent Orienteering Course (POC) of about twenty multi-challenge Control signs designed to explore your whole school site. We also provide a range of Activities and Challenges to use with the POC. This saves a great deal of lesson preparation time for staff.
Schemes of Work
We offer Orienteering schemes of work from KS1 to KS3. Our progressive skills based lesson plans and supportive resources will become an essential part of your Outdoor and Adventurous Activities PE curriculum.
Staff Training
Our 'Introduction to Teaching Orienteering' training is provided in a range of options for teachers/TAs -Â
from a 90 minutes twilight or INSET session to a bespoke team-teach day where we demonstrate a range of lessons across the Key Stages.
